Painted Ponies is a collection of figurines based on the life-sized public art project called The Trail of Painted Ponies which first appeared in Santa Fe, USA in 2001. Intended to promote cultural tourism, the project enchanted hundreds of thousands of people, produced dazzling original artwork, and raised almost a million dollars for the local community. The ponies are galloping into the hearts and homes of Australians as miniature resin and ceramic replicas, each stylishly gift boxed with a short description of the individual artist and their inspiration.
